Chit Charity with Katherine Heigl!

Every year, millions of dogs are euthanized in the U.S. because they don't have a home. Katherine Heigl and her mother, Nancy decided to create The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation to show that older dogs can make great family pets! They named the foundation after Heigl's brother who died at age 15 in a car accident. The Heigl women wanted to keep Jason's legacy and love for animals alive. They also wanted to offer their support to the canine community and have a real say in how their money would be used and so The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation was born. This organization focuses on abolishing euthanasia of dogs by funding free spay-and-neuter clinics, rescue groups and through the Heigl Hounds of Hope Program. The goal of this program is to train big dogs in the hopes of having them adopted. Learn more about this cause and consider enlarging your family!

Just a thought...

"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in other; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."
