As a child, Jake Gyllenhaal's heartthrob eyes weren't as functional as he might have wished. "I've had really poor vision since I was a little kid." His childhood experience led him to champion this cause. New Eyes is a non-profit organization that sends donated prescription glasses to underdeveloped countries. It also gives vouchers for a free check up and free glasses to people in need in the United States. Jake is a perfect example of influence used for the greater good of humanity.
