FWAC event - Artistic Expressions

In an effort to raise funds to build a hospital in Haiti, the Meaningful Minds Literacy Club for the Dorsainvil Foundation lined up musicians, singers, dance companies and poets for your viewing pleasure. Every once in a while, we come across people about whom we can't help but think - these individuals are truly genuine. We had the pleasure to speak to several of the organisers for Artistic Expressions for Haiti and let me (Kelie) tell you, you are in for a real treat. Showtime is on Sunday, June 27th from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the New Hyde Park Elk's Lodge. What's in it for you? On top of the Haitian flavored entertainment, you will be served a full course dinner with drinks, included in a slew of raffles and given the opportunity to silently bid on artwork pieces. As if this wasn't enough, Dr. Dorsainvil himself will join the fete and share his heart for the challenges the Haitian community is facing and the project at hand.
